Dearest Reader,
It has come to my attention that many a bride (and her well-meaning entourage) have a dreadful tendency to wait until the very last minute. Shoes are purchased mere days before vows, favours are assembled at midnight, and someone always forgets the rings.
Allow me to confess: even I, Lady Belle, once found myself hunting for hairpins mere moments before stepping out the door. A catastrophe of the highest order!
Thus, I declare — procrastination may be charming when it comes to deciding between lemon or chocolate cake, but when it comes to weddings? Preparation, my darling, is the truest form of self-care.
Make the lists. Book the fittings. Say yes to help. And, for heaven’s sake, keep an emergency chocolate stash on hand.
After all, a well-prepared bride is a radiant bride — and far less likely to cry over missing confetti.
With love, lace, and a little gentle nagging,
Lady Belle
